WiredJon Snyder has published a story on Wired about Michael Shindler’s Photobooth in San Francisco.

Armed with a Sinar 4×5 camera and Profoto strobes, Shindler creates genuine tintypes for customers at his studio. Guaranteed to last 200 years, it’s fabulous to see this type of artistry still practiced in the digital age.

Open since August of 2011, the endeavor has proved popular enough to keep Shindler in business. We can’t wait to visit and get ours made.

You can follow Photobooth on Twitter or go to their site for more info.
