  • Workhorse

    Its a grate flash with a battery that runs ”forever”. I have never felt that the flash power is not enough, even with quite big modifiers. The modeling light has been used more than I thought, for video purpose. Temperature modeling is very useful.

    I prefer the godox ad 300 for a fraction of the cost. When coming down on a light stand hard the battery pops off. And to have what I call full access to the output via remote you have to buy a four hundred dollar remote. I consider selling ALL of my profoto stuff (about 6K) every day. Also customer service has been poor. I do not and will not recommend profoto.

  • Perfect

    A perfect flash for just about all my uses which ranges from high end commercial, to food and editorial work. Fits comfortably in my camera bag with all my other bits and pieces. A beautiful quality of light.

  • Good for just few months

    It worked well for a few months then it stopped working for unknown reasons. Even though I had a one-year warranty and sent it to repair with Profoto within the warranty time, they still charged me for the repair because apparently it was due to the battery. It wasn’t my fault that the battery broke because I took care of it pretty well but they said there was no way of knowing this. This was a pretty disappointing experience since I paid about $2000 for a new product which broke a few months after and on top of that, I had to pay $200+ for the repair.

  • My Little B10

    It's a very compact flash with good power. Easy to use. Dependable. Battery lasts a good amount of time. Modeling lamp heats up after 15 minutes and shuts down the device. Annoying. Also can't use on soft boxes larger than 60 in.

  • This is what you’ve been looking for!

    I can’t lie. I’ve been using the cheapest lights for quite some years. Until I pulled the trigger and bought a B10 and B10X. Oh boy, I can’t stress enough how good these lights are. Solid, powerful and reliable for any job you throw at it. Only 4 stars though, since I haven’t figured out how to adapt my Softboxes I already have to these lights.

  • Capable and reliable

    I was really pleased with this light. It is not the newest offering, and it's more expensive than comparable power lights of other brands, but I am in the Profoto ecosystem and love that my accessories are plug and play. I was able to balance with the sun at full power and fairly close range to the subject, and the quality of light was superior to using dual speedlights. Plus, the pocket wizards are getting so unreliable, I really enjoyed using the Profoto Air Remote. Have used in combination with Nikon speedlights in SU-4 and worked great. Best part.... no more lugging my studio strobes around and looking for power outlets!

  • Small wonder

    This light is a workhorse and a nice addition to the family of profoto. What’s crazy and still testing is taking photos with an iPhone while using this as a main light. Will need more samples and data on settings. But this is an amazing all around light.

  • I should’ve get it sooner!

    Good build quality, as always. I bought a B10 plus first, and then get this little brother recently. Also, this one is even lighter than my B10 plus, which is very attractive to me. I am a high-end watch photographer, sometimes I need to handheld the light to precisely fine-tune and adjust its position, so the weighted size is very important to me. This B10 allows me to handheld it and move freely during the shoot without any painful muscle stress.

  • Love this light!

    Hi, Love the Profoto line and started my Profoto journey with a couple of A1 lights and was so amazed by how easy they are to work with. As a natural light photographer, I was really amazed about how well all things work and how easy the lighting of the subject went. I instantly fell in love with lighting my models instead of choosing ambient light to light my models. The size of the B10 is amazing and hardly takes up any space in my bag. These lights are super light in weight and the build of these lights makes it all fun to shoot with flash instead of ambient light. I haven't used the Profoto telephone app yet but that's something that makes it even easier to change the settings of the B10 without having to move from your place. Just a light that changed my look at using flashlight during my model shoot...... I love these lights. Pim Nauta, Deventer The Netherlands
