  • Better than expected

    I should know by now that Profoto is quality stuff. When I first saw this grid holder, my first reaction was “plastic?” This this is solid. Slides right on the lights I have and the magnetic pull is strong. Far from cheap plastic I was thinking it was.

  • Protection bag missing

    Very good overall product like all OCF II mods and accessories, however at the price point some kind of protection would be appropriate, especially given that the grid honeycombs are made from thin metal, so with some pressure from the outside, I believe they could bend. Some magnetic caps would be appropriate IMHO.

The OCF II Grids reduce the light spread, control stray light, and add contrast and drama to an image. So no matter what location you find yourself in, you can control and focus the light where you want it, limit the light spillage on other areas of the image, create background effects, and more. The magnetic grids attach directly onto the OCF II Grid & Gel Holder or the OCF II Barndoor. They can be clicked on and off in seconds. For even more creative possibilities on the move, stack them with colourful OCF II Gels.

Important note: Only recommended for Profoto flat front lights. Max 500Ws flash. Only to be used with Profoto flashes with LED modeling light. Must not be used with Profoto flashes with halogen modeling light due to heat resistance.
