What is TTL?
TTL is when the flash exposure is set automatically by the camera instantly communicating to the Air Remote how much light is needed. The Air Remote will in turn wirelessly communicate the correct exposure settings to all lights. Perfect for situations where you need to act quickly to get the shot. You can switch to manual and keep the exposure that TTL has set to make small adjustments. This allows you to be fully focused on the quality of the image – all you need to do is just point and shoot.

What is HSS?
HSS or High-Speed Sync, enables you to use flash at any shutter speed up to 1/8,000 of a second. That means you are in full control of the ambient light, which is useful when shooting outdoors in sunlight. With HSS you can shape light even with large apertures and at fast shutter speeds. HSS is great for outdoor portraits with shallow depth of field or freezing fast action in broad daylight. Profoto HSS is faster, more powerful and more consistent than any other HSS solution on the market.
