What we are looking for
As Project Purchaser at Profoto you will be a part of a team working closely together with Category Management, R&D, Sales & Operations, Contract Manufacturers and Product Management. The project purchaser is managing the sourcing related activities in the product development projects and is an integral part of the team ensuring timely and successful product launches.
As this position is new at Profoto it comes with great opportunities to influence and develop ways of working, processes and utilization of the new ERP-system to establish relevant KPIs and supplier monitoring.
You will be located in Profoto’s modern HQ in Sundbyberg just outside Stockholm. The position will require some business travels to suppliers in Europe and Asia (~20 days per year).
- coordinate project purchasing activities such as call off and delivery monitoring to assure TTM deadlines until serial production
- handle supplier capacity planning
- create and maintain product cost calculations
- perform project cost calculations
- handle RFI and RFQ activities
- handle EOL planning
- support and coordinate category management actions/activities to achieve strategic objectives
- At least 5 years of applicable work experience
- Minimum college education (Engineering, Business Administration, Economy)
- Experience from working with HW products and related development and production activities
- Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English

Experience from Project Purchasing and SRM is highly valued. Areas closely linked to Engineering, Production, Cost and Quality assurance are also meriting as well as experience in working with contract manufacturers.
If you have experience from Lean Product Development and can bring ERP system utilization knowledge that will also be valued.
