  • Good but didn’t last long

    I loved using the beauty dish…while it lasted… I only usually get it out once a month or so but after 13months of use one of the loops that holds the disk in place just fell off and now the disk hangs a bit wonky. Bit disappointed with the longevity of the product to be honest and not sure whether to buy a new one or work with the wonky one, or look for something else

  • Great results after assembling

    Thus week I had great fotos with a beautiful model. The beautydish gives soft light and shadows in all situations and the model liked the shots too. The assembling was a bit tricky and I bowed one of the bars. Anyway it worked and I will pracktise.

  • Keine Glanzleistung der Produktdesigner

    Sehr kompliziert in der Handhabung. Die Deflektorplatte sitzt so weit vorne, dass reichlich Streulicht seitlich davon heraustritt. Kein Soft-Grid zur Eindämmung der Lichtstreuung im Angebot. OCF Anschlußring muss zusätzlich gekauft werden. Die acht Streben verbiegen leicht bei der Montage. Ein welliger Stoffbezug ist die Folge. Lichtformen wird so zum Experiment. Mit dem billigen China-Produkt für meine Aufsteckblitze komme ich weit besser zurecht. Sehr schade! Den zweiten Stern gebe ich für das geringe Gewicht und Packmaß.

  • Well made, with one flaw

    Well made, but wish it was backward compatible with the gel holder bought. Profoto is the best, but not cheap. Now I have to go re buy the new OCF gel holder, which I admit is a better product, but I have barely used the previous version and it wasn't cheap. They should offer a trade in program discount 🤣

El nuevo OCF Beauty Dish es una versión plegable y más portátil del clásico Softlight Reflector de Profoto. Crea una luz suave y nítida a la vez, y a menudo se le denomina “luz de belleza”. El Beauty Dish blanco aporta una luz más suave y ligeramente más uniforme que su homólogo de color plata. En lo que respecta a resaltar la belleza de los sujetos, es insuperable.

Puesto que está hecho a medida para la fotografía en localizaciones, el OCF Beauty Dish es compacto, ligero y fácil de utilizar. Sus tejidos de alta calidad y su diseño (pendiente de patente) te permiten fijarlo a presión sobre el speedring sin tener que tocar o doblar las varillas.

Importante: Solamente se recomienda para los flashes de cabeza plana de Profoto. Flash máximo de 750 W. Solo se puede utilizar con flashes Profoto con luz de modelado LED. No se debe utilizar con flashes Profoto con luz de modelado halógena debido a la resistencia al calor.
