  • Useful, could be improved

    Versatile and good quality, but the mechanism for securing the flash should be better, more secure. Expensive when launched, now it's more reasonably priced. You can mount any OCF mod to your A1 series flashes

  • I love all my Profoto products

    Every Profoto product I have purchases has been of a high quality build. I don’t have that as a question. I do question if I will be able to use it to its full potential.

  • Easy to use adapter

    The OCF adapter is a very, very good solution to attach all kind of light shapers, soft boxes to create an image. It excels in simplicity to use, it’s sturdy and yet refined in its shape. A definite recommendation!

  • Better than I Imagined

    I had a tough time buying this due to the cost. However, now I am looking at another one, why? Because it is superior in about every to what I’ve used before. It mounted the flash and modifier, nothing came loose, the flash was protected. It was a breeze to use

  • Super Happy!

    I had been using a different set up for my off camera speedlight. This set up is so easy to put together and is built well...thinking of purchasing another one, in fact! On the fence? Just get it, you won't be disappointed! I use this with the OFC Softbox Square, the OFC Speedring and the OFC Sofgrid Square. Love them all!

    Now I can also use my other Profoto light shapers. The processing is profoto like and should survive many years of use. The entire construction is made of metal, the tripod foot can even be removed and used for the B10 series, if necessary. All in all, well thought out, although affiliated in the high-price range.

  • Best buy in the first quarter!

    Well thought-out solution to connect the Profoto Axx series to the tripod. Variable angle of inclination, even a larger umbrella stays in the desired position. Click Gel is attached in a few simple steps. Remove A1, click gel on it, attach A1 again. Whether it's a safety eyelet or, like me, a fine detail on the edge for hanging on the service belt. Another detail, the head can be separated from the OCF adapter, which gives you more mounting options.

  • Expanding flash option in small attic home studio

    Very well made product (as we expect from Profoto :-). Price however seems somewhat unreasonable. The offer to provide some free additional bits and pieces was absolutely necessarily for me to buy the OCF Adapter. Let’s not get too greedy guys ;-)

    I brought the OCF adapter, 2' OCF Octa and an A10 4000+ miles and was able to take some great portraits. Easy to pack. Strong support for the flash & modifier.

  • The agony and the ecstasy of the OCF adapter

    The Profoto OCF adapter is a well appreciated addition to the A1/A1x speedlight. It's well thought out but has a major flaw. The foot on which the speedlight mounts is a weak plastic part which cannot take the stress of being carried horizontally. Profoto sells the repair part as an accessory which proves that it is a known weakness. Aside from this issue, I love the design and usefulness of this tool. I only wish I could justify owning more than one of them. The USD price of the adapter is "at least" $100.00 too much.

  • OCF Adapter

    Excellent and sturdy all-metal construction. Perfect fit for my A1 and my Profoto OCF modifiers for on-location portraits. Lightens my gear load, as I don't need to lug around as much equipement. A real game-changer!

    It’s a very solid and easy to use adapter that allows me to use any of my Profoto light shaping tools. I’ve used it with the OCF Beauty Dish mostly for portability.

  • MY WORST EXPERIENCE EVER IN AN ONLINE PURCHASE

    The product has a defective part and I have contacted technical support to solve the problem. I live in Madrid, where they have no technical service and the only option they give me is to send the product to Valencia at my own expense and they will determine if it is a manufacturing defect or has been due to my use. I have tryied to use only one time. I bouth a lot of things online and never had this bad response.
