With which smartphones and operating systems can I use Profoto Control Android app? 
Profoto Control Android app works with Android phones running Android OS 7 or later. Tested with Samsung Galaxy S9+, S10, S10+, Note 8, Note 9, and Note 10, Huawei P20 Pro, M20 Pro, Mate 30, and P 30 Pro, Google Pixel 3, 3a, and 4, Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 9, and Mi Mix 3, OnePlus 6, 7 Pro, HTC U12+, and others (valid as per December 2019).

With which Profoto products can I use Profoto Control Android app? 
Profoto Control Android app can be used for remote control and Firmware upgrade with Profoto B10, Profoto B10 Plus, Profoto Connect, Profoto C1, and Profoto C1 Plus*. 
*Note that you cannot create images directly with Profoto Control Android app. 

Which products can I remotely control from Profoto Control Android app when creating images with a DSLR or mirrorless camera? 
You can remotely control the Profoto Pro-11, Profoto A10, Profoto B10, Profoto B10 Plus, Profoto Connect, Profoto C1, and Profoto C1 Plus.  

Can I take photos with Profoto Control Android app?  
You cannot create photographs directly with Profoto Control Android app. 

When is Profoto Camera Android app coming?

We are working on it and will release it sometime in the future. 

How many Profoto devices can I remotely control from Profoto Control Android app? 
You can remotely control up to four (4) Profoto devices individually. If you remotely control a Profoto Connect, you can control however many lights that are set to the same channel as your Profoto Connect. 

I’m using Profoto Connect with my Profoto A1X, but I can’t see the A1X in Profoto Control Android app? 
In Profoto Control Android app, you will only see Profoto devices with Bluetooth connectivity, which Profoto A1X does not have. If your Profoto Connect and Profoto A1X are set to the same channel, you can still control your Profoto A1X from Profoto Control Android app by remotely controlling your Profoto Connect. 

How do I set my Profoto device to standby mode? 
Activate or deactivate your light by tapping the switch at the top left of the settings card. This switch will set your device into standby. 

I can’t connect Profoto Control Android app to my Profoto device. What’s wrong? 
Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your phone, and that your Profoto device is turned on. Now, in Profoto Control Android app, tap the plus sign in Remote Control view, and your Profoto device will show up. 
If your Profoto device is a Profoto B10, check that Bluetooth is activated on your B10 (this is automatic on other Profoto devices compatible with Profoto Control Android app). Find the Bluetooth setting in the B10 menu, and select ON. When activated, you will see the Bluetooth icon at the bottom of the main screen on the B10 display. 

How do I know if my Profoto device is connected to Profoto Control Android app? 
When Profoto Control Android app connects to a Profoto device, the status indicator on the device turns blue momentarily. When Profoto Control Android app disconnects from a Profoto device, the status indicator blinks blue. In Profoto Control Android app, you can see in the remote control/device section if your device is connected. 

How do I disconnect my Profoto device from Profoto Control Android app? 
Access "Remote control" from Profoto Control Android app main menu. Choose your device and tap the cogwheel icon. Choose "Disconnect" at the bottom of the settings for your device.
