The Photography Show is in its sixth year at the NEC in Birmingham and is the place for all interested in image creation, being the opportunity to explore your creative possibilities. We hope to see you there where we will be hosting image creation talks from our top photographers who will be providing lighting tips and techniques in their talks.

Hannah Couzens
Hannah Couzens is a multi-award winning professional portrait photographer based in St Albans, also working from her studio in central London and on-location. Working as a mobile photographer requires an eye for detail and the ability to be flexible, something Hannah has achieved through her work. Hannah will be joining us as an avid light user and Sony Ambassador to talk about effectively lighting portraits.
Demo 1: Maximum impact with minimal kit portraits with the B10
Sometimes knowing which light shaper to use for which scenario can be confusing. Hannah will show you just how versatile your kit can be and how many different looks can be achieved with just 2 lights and 2 light shapers.
Demo 2: Creating atmospheric portraits with the B10
Creating moods and depth to an image with light can really change the feel of a portrait. Using colour, light and shadow in a controlled way, Hannah will build up a portrait onw light at a time to show how we can bring more atmosphere to our portraits.

Tina Eisen
Tina Eisen moved from Germany to the UK 14 years ago, which is where she discovered her love for photography and ended up falling in love with fashion and beauty.
Demo: Six setups with the A1
Tina will be joining us at The Photography Show 2019 to introduce you to lighting for beauty and fashion shoots, and show you how to get the perfect shot in 6 different set ups with the Profoto A1.

Rory Lewis
Rory Lewis has spent his years developing his portrait photography techniques, capturing celebrities through to politicians. Rory's aim through photography is to capture a moment in time and be within a part of history, something he achieves effectively through his portraiture.
Demo: Portable portraits
Traveling the globe, Rory Lewis has made an outstanding contribution to photography and the visual arts, creating consistently imaginative and thought-provoking portraits. To Rory, portability and power are essential in lighting equipment. Rory will speak about light his subjects and his recent work using Profoto.

Kate and Brent Kirkman
Wedding photography requires an eye for detail, flexibility and the ability to embrace all kinds of situations. Using light, Kate and Brent Kirkman create beautiful images throughout the year for couples on their special day. Kate joins us as a light creator and Sony Ambassador to share her top tips with us.
Demo 1: Shedding light on weddings
Lighting is the most fundamental element of photography and weddings are full of challenging scenarios. Kate and Brent will explain when, how and why they use artificial lighting across the day.
Demo 2: Where there is darkness, let there be light - live shoot
Kate and Brent will demonstrate how to use simple but effective lighting techniques for bride, groom and couple portraits so that you do not need to be afraid of bad light again.

Andy Hoang
Andy Hoang is a London based photographer soaking up all the fashion and commercial trends the captial has to offer. Practising photography since his twenties, Andy is no stranger to using light to create soft and beautiful yet powerful images. Andy joins us to discuss his top lighting and photography techniques.
Demo: Creating light with reflectors
Andy will be showing you how to create great images with Profoto B10s and a range of hand held reflectors.
